In the latest case of transatlantic cooperation Harrowden have brought a FireFly R300 Turf Harvester across from Utah in the USA. The FireFly Automatix R300 Automated Roll Harvester is believed to be the most refined Automated Roll Harvester ever built. It offers precise, smooth, quiet and efficient operation delivering perfect pallets every time.

…represent the cutting edge in harvesting technology. Moreover they have brought a raft of new technologies to the US and now the UK markets. But it’s not just about the quality of the product. FireFly were one of the few businesses to expand during Covid. This growth was based on its purchasing strengths and in-house production capability. So it was able to avoid much of the supply chain disruption occurring elsewhere. Moreover, it increased production and continued to fulfil orders.
The R300 will be used in Harrowden’s Norfolk farms across its turf operations. As a result Harrowden will produce close to 8 million metres of turf this year supporting contractors and the UK retail turf market. Harrowden expects to see a significant dividend from the increased efficiency of the FireFly R300. Not only does it need less power it also enjoys dedicated hybrid technology.
