• Each of our green roof kits, comes with the main ingredients to transform a gently sloping roof into a true green sedum roof. Each kit contains a root barrier to protect your waterproofing from root damage, as well as a living carpet of sedum plants.
• Flat Roof Kits

• Our flat green roof kit comes with everything you need to create a delightful green roof, full of plants and flowers.

  There are several components in our kit. A root barrier to make sure the plants cannot damage your waterproofing. Next comes a layer of specially engineered drainage mat to protect against damage to the sedum roof and building. This matting ensures that excess water is wicked away from the roots, keeping your flat green roof secure and healthy.

• Build a self-contained green roof the easy way. Green roof trays come complete with sedum and substrate. So you can team them with green roof edging and a fleece protection layer to create the simplest green roof solution.

• Meadowmat Wildflower Turf
  Our range of green roof plants is not confined to sedum. We also supply two varieties of wildflower turf specifically designed for green roof applications.

  Heritage Meadowmat® was originally developed to meet the demand for a quick-to-install green roofing material with instant plant coverage. It does that job admirably and has brought biodiversity to some amazing living roofs throughout the UK. But it also brings a splash of colour to gardens.

  Birds & Bees Floral Focus can also be used on green roofs and is a truly colourful blend of wildflower species. It will be irresistible to butterflies, bees, moths and hoverflies. Most of the plant species are perennial. 

• Substrates

  When laying the foundations for a  rooftop garden, garden soil won’t do the job. So we developed our own green roof substrate. It has great water retention properties and a low-nutrient base. So it provides the ideal growing medium for establishing and nurturing green roofs. 

• Seeds + Plug Plants
  Of course wildflower turf is not the only choice. We also grow our own plants, harvest and supply wildflower and sedum seeds as well as the plants themselves.
• Roof Cobbles

• Cobbles are recommended for use on green roof installations as a fire break. They provide free draining areas as well as supporting habitat creation on biodiverse roofs. Cobbles should be installed in accordance with the GRO code – installed 300mm wide around all perimeters, including rooflights and rain outlets.

• Roof Edging
• Our green roofing edging is designed to hold everything in place. It uses the weight of the substrate providing a safe border between the roof edge and the green planting. This strong green roof edging is made from aluminium with matching dual-purpose corner pieces and joining plates.
• Filter Fleece
• Drainage Board
