It can take years to establish a wildflower meadow and there are precious few left. Whilst growing wildflowers sounds easy the conditions they prefer are fast disappearing but Meadowmat is a fast and simple solution to creating a wildflower bed or better still a meadow. Meadowmat was specifically designed and developed to create a fast solution to wildflower adoption. Quicker than seed and less work than plug plants Meadowmat is really “wildflowers on a roll”. It can be laid just like turf and whilst most varieties need low fertility soil it can create an alternative lawn or a wildflower bed almost instantly. Add in all the benefits for pollinators and you have a great product to help achieve BNG targets or to just support greater biodiversity in a garden.

Each variety of Meadowmat wildflower turf is a colourful mix of flowering plants and grasses all growing strongly on our proven matting system. You can treat Meadowmat like ordinary turf.  It is grown naturally outside by our small team in Norfolk.

Not only grown outside but wherever possible we choose UK sourced seeds. We also avoid using pesticides during the growing process and instead, we welcome a host of insects and mammals to enjoy the plants as they develop. We have eight varieties, one will suit you and your garden.
